California's Nuke Follies

This whole nation is anti-nuclear energy and I don't understand why. Perhaps fear brought to us by Chernobyl or Three Mike Island or even the Japanese plants that caused huge problems after the tsunami. Perhaps fear of movies like "China Syndrome". Perhaps it is the short-sightedness of politicians who cannot think beyond what stupid green house nuts are saying. Whatever the reason is the truth is we should be building more of them.
