Interesting than black lives matter loved the Cuban dictator Fidel Castro. Right now, you have one Ukrainian American who was born into communism and three Cuban Congress people who either were in Cuba or whose family escaped from Cuba so most Cubans end up being conservative. Is that why there is no sympathy for taking Cuban refugees?

By the way, I have a friend who was born in Cuba in 1956. In 1959, his father was thrown in jail while the new communist government inventoried his tobacco farm, his bank accounts, his mother's Pharmacy and the Cuban government took it all away. The mom was able to fly first United States and his dad joined him 4 months later. After 6 months of being in the USA as refugees, they decided to go to Columbia and live there for a few years. The family eventually emigrated back to the United States. Friend was with the 82nd Airborne and also served with 5th group. He is an NCO and he's adamantly anti-communist. He has no sympathy for Fidel Castro and his regime. His family lost everything. My friend was in a civil Affairs unit with me. POTUS Obama did not demand Anata Shakur back before opening relations with Cuba. Usually countries exchange prisoners before opening Embassies. I have a Foreign Area Officer buddy complain this did not happen because Obama wanted to open up the embassy at all costs.
