You never know what sea duty will do to a sailor, over time. Someone should have watched him maybe, like his/her LPO. Talk to the rest and get the facts. He may hate the crew, himself, or life. Maybe he was just a pyromaniac. Never rule out drugs. A sailor jumped ship after running naked across the bridge of our ship in port at Rosy Roads. We were doing a maint standdown ashore and heard the siren. LSD involved.

I'm sure that is what the Navy will be doing CWO3 (Join to see). It could be like the guy who set fire to a sub in New Hampshire. That sub had to be scrapped too. They got to the bottom of that case and Im sure they'll do it here. Sad nevertheless.

I am an Armry veteran so maybe I don't get it but isn't your ship kind of like your home? I've gotten frustrated with my situation in the Army from time to time but I never sent the barracks on fire.
