Good article. I wonder what new variant is breeding in the petri dishes of the unvaccinated???

SFC Randy Hellenbrand Widespread vaccination would certainly be slowing the spread and reducing the risk of a more dangerous US spawned variant. Having said that, I believe Delta was imported into the US from somewhere else so we'd still have that. Just a lot lower transmission rate.

Sometime in June the average cases were around 11,000 per day. Now we are up to 52,000 a day because the Delta variant is so contagious.

I did some calculations with current daily averages by 365 days it came out to be around 18 million more cases.

Trump ingloriously said we had nothing to fear in regards to the pandemic. He has hurt the county by his pandemic planning and continues the fight against the vaccine. I suppose he has not killed enough people.

I suspect a fair amount of people who get a minor case of COVID think it is exactly that.

The flu doesnt kill the number of people that COVID does.

SGT-Covid doesnt kill people. In most cases the individual has other issues. The same thing happens to people with complications and contract the flu. The media doesn’t publish the death totals for people who contact the flu and are hospitalized and or die. Check the web for numbers who have died from past flu’s.
