Herschel Walker on Olympic protests: 'If people don’t like the rules, why are you here?'

Simple, the me generation is all about me. If you've trained for something for years the fact that you may not agree with policy and rules does not overcome the acclaim that will come to ME!

A very good question, You have the honor to represent Your country on the world stage and then show less respect for Your own country than athletes from other countries do or would even consider doing ? The conduct of some of the American Athletes is disgraceful and they dishonor themselves as well as our nation. I agree 100% with what Herschel Walker had to say on the subject and He represents the view of most of us that do take pride in our nation. Whatever problems He may have had in His life He is well aware of what is and is not proper respect for the nation these athletes have to honor to represent. There is some conduct that isn't acceptable at all and certainly NOT on the International Scene where they can't even display proper respect for the very nation they are there to represent ! If they can't behave themselves they should NOT even be allowed the honor or representing our nation at the Olympics.
