Portuguese Empire

No question about Portugal spreading its influence with colonies. In the Americans (North Central and South America) it was the European countries of Great Britain, France, Spain and Portugal that settled this new world and spread their influence, culture and language.

COL (Join to see) - Thank you for the excellent article, sir. The Portuguese Empire really was world history at that time. Oman was part of that Empire too which Omanis have not forgotten. It's a long article but well worth reading. I'll be reading through it again, and keeping it for reference. Just now notice it can be listened to also which is a bonus.
