Navy sailor surprises family in El Paso after being away for 8 months

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel I love stories like this. When I was in Iraq 2010-2011, a friend decided to surprise his wife when he went home on R&R. She had been in the kitchen when he rang the doorbell; she answered the door and screamed when she saw him. Then she ran back to the kitchen, ran back to the front door, and ran back to the kitchen again, back-and-forth, screaming the entire time. Needless to say, they had a wonderful two weeks.
