Marlon is a licensed alcohol and drug counselor and CEO of CrossRoads, an addiction treatment center in Nevada. We spoke just after U.S. government statistics released this week revealed that a record 93,000 people died of drug overdoses in 2020, what we might call the first year of the coronavirus pandemic.
That's an increase of nearly 30% from the previous year. It means that about 11 people died each hour, on average, more than 250 people a day, from drug overdoses.

This crap almost killed my wife after the doctor prescribed it to her severe back pain. We followed the directions to the T. We were only told it's strong. Ya, sure.

If taking any medication its best to stay away from grapefruit juice or the fruit.

The unintended consequences of the lockdowns, from failed family businesses and the associated hopes and dreams, to sports scholarship kids missing their chances to play, to high school and junior high suicides skyrocketing due to teenage isolation, to increased murders out of frustration, to drug overdoses, are in the long run probably going to be more deadly than covid was, and much more likely than covid to cause longterm depression and other psychological problems.
