With news today that Amazon is committed to hiring over 100,000 veterans and military spouses by 2024, it remains good to see that more and more companies and organizations recognize the value in hiring veterans and allowing the leadership skills found through military service to flourish in a new, worthwhile environment.

Low paying jobs, I’d bet. But, it’s a job, with benefits. I took a relative low paying Civil Dervice job to keep a positive cash flow after I retired. Six months later, I found a higher paying job commensurate with my skills and knowledge.
