A housekeeper in Chicago who found a hotel room filled with guns and ammunition "likely prevented a tragedy" by reporting the discovery to local police.
Keegan Casteel, 32, of Iowa, was arrested after the cleaning staff at a hotel near Lake Michigan discovered the weapons and alerted police.
The Associated Press reported that Mr Casteel was staying at the W Hotel, which overlooks the Ohio Street Beach and Navy Pier, which are major tourist attractions.
David Brown, the Superintendent of the Chicago Police Department, praised the hotel staff member who reported the room.
“So it was significant and very valuable and we ought to keep a lot of praise on that employee for letting us know so we could act quickly and potentially avoid a tragedy. Thank God for that hotel worker, who saw something, and said something, and I believe averted disaster,” Mr Brown said.

A misleading headline, which almost all media does.
According to other sources, the man had a handgun with extra magazines and 1 rifle with 5 loaded magazines. That is reason for concern and the police were correct in investigating. However, it certainly was not a "room full."
I get tired of misleading headlines.

The guy may be a nut and tragedy was prevented.... but the storyline as written above is still a lie.

3: If I was crazy enough to travel to Chicago (im not, won't even get on an airplane that is going through that nuthouse of a place, same for NewYork) Id have more than just two pistols with me ...
