Sgt (Join to see) I used to watch the hillbilly's and they are on MeTV but I have seen them so many times that I have them practically memorized!
I think there is an error on the description of the family's origin though. The Ozarks are Missouri (I believe, someone correct me if I am wrong) but the family was from Tennessee. In one of the early episodes they said they were from Limestone, Tennessee (That's in East Tennessee, part in Greene County and part in Washington County). There is such a place and it is only about two miles from me. Later they changed it to say they were from Bugtussle (or however it is spelled).

The Ozarks are in Missouri. I have lived in Tennessee and now live in Arkansas. Being born in Kentucky I have known the Hill areas and hill people in all three states. These movies don’t represent the areas or the People who live there. It was not realistic in in form but designed as a Comedy for those who expect that type of life from people of those areas. It was funny when taken as just what it was, a comedy by actors !
