Why is the military buying 200 million doses when the entire Military is about 1.5 million. Even if we round up to 2 million and double because it’s a 2 dose vaccine. That will still leave a boat load of vaccines.

Capt Gregory Prickett I guess We can assume the doses purchased will be manufactured in batches over a couple of years. Would be the only way because shelf life at -20 is only 6 months for Moderna.

The us military will vaccinate dod civ, and others in its mil activities, eg humanitarian missions, HN forces, etc etc
