How We Enslave Ourselves

This is a thoughtful presentation in response to a question that has been plaguing me for more than a decade. Why are Americans, the freest peoples on this planet in any time, surrendering their freedom so cheaply? I moved from California to Texas to escape the suffocating bonds imposed by my fellow citizens who embrace servitude to the collective. I hope I don't have to move again. I don't believe there are many American places remaining and those Californians who follow me here in ever increasing numbers are determined to enslave me here...
