I'm for it. I thought that MLK's birthday holiday would cover the bases but sure, let's celebrate it. A lot of blood and treasure was shed to bring slavery to an end. And, if we play our cards right, it will be an excellent opportunity to put an end to propaganda (like the 1619 Project). America didn't invent slavery, it inherited it from the colonies that Europeans established. It would also be nice to use the holiday to tell children that the Constitution didn't establish slavery, indeed the 3/5ths clause provided an important toll to help end it.
