Brilliant. I always played defense in soccer because I did not have the requisite offensive skills, but I was fast. I remember I had a perfect kick. The soccer ball came to me slowly at hip level. I kicked it while it was in mid air. It was a rocket, it went a good 60 yards. That was my one and only magical kick.
Our youth soccer team (high school level) lost our coach before the season started. We decided not to practice but to just show up to the games. lol
We won the league championship. Our formula was a good goalie, one offensive player who would score 1,2,3 goals a game. I played on defense and I must say that was one of the strengths of the team. All 3 of us defenders were very fast and aggressive. Very few teams scored on us. We shut down our opponents.
