Irony is the immense hurt can be a gift as it helps people understand and have compassion for others who are in a world of hurt. Perhaps I can teach some people with PTSD how to fight and beat it to a great degree. One of the Principles of War in how the US fights wars is Simplicity. Simple plans are beautiful. In a nutshell my plan to help people suffering with PTSD is is simple, identify all the symptoms. Establish a fire plan to cover the whole engagement area to include priority targets. Then kill them symptoms. Kill all of those bastards. Kill, kill, kill. It is methodical at first. Something exquisite will happen after this successful operation. The person will feel relatively free of the hurt because most of the symptoms were neutralized. That is where we make the money. Kill them effing symptoms and rock and roll in this process.


One time I was walking through the WTB and found a couple senior NCOs sitting together on the couch, saying nothing and looking into space. After a quick introduction, I asked if I could coach them, to which thankfully they replied yes. I just want to say the process went well. I really don't intend to brag. It is what it is.
