Supreme Court won't hear challenge to male-only military draft

But if it were an issue saying billionaire golf course owner never had to pay tax..................

We have no draft. Its an all volunteer force. No on is being drafted therefore the issue is mute. The moment a draft is reinstated then the question is "Ripe" for consideration.

With all due respect to the Justices, the excuse of "Congress is actively considering it" is idiotic.

How long can they "actively consider" an clearly unConstitutional discriminatory law before the court WILL hear the case?

If the court hears the case and declares the male-only draft unConstitutional while Congress is working to revamp it, no harm, no foul, as Congress is already working on the fix. If they (somehow) decide it is Constitutional, no harm, no foul, as Congress can STILL work to re-vamp, or decide to discard any changes they were working on, since what they have is fine.

If the court hears the case and Congress DOES manage to get their shit together and actuall re-write the law before the case is decided, STILL no harm, no foul, as now the case is moot, and everyone can move on with their lives.

There is literally NO scenario here where the court chooses to hear the case and there is a BAD outcome.
