SrA John Monette - In CT, how would they know if you own on (or 2, or 7). Do you have to register them in CT?

MAJ Glenn Bergeron - technically, you are supposed to register them. however, when i got my pistol permit, i didn't have to give any info on any weapons i own (or don't own). i think they would probably rely on family members giving them that info

Why was he allowed to walk about freely in society, where all sorts of tools of mass-murder are available to him? Guns are not the only, nor the deadliest, weapon available to homicidal/suicidal maniacs. Consider the 80 murdered and 400 injured by truck in about 5 minutes in Nice, FR.
Some would prefer that we turn all of civil society into a vast insane asylum, rather than remove the dangerous, violent people from society to an asylum where they can be helped.

You’re supposed toMAJ Glenn Bergeron but obviously many ways to game the system. I brought several handguns from when I was stationed at Benning back to connecticut. They didn’t ask me how many. I didn’t offer. However each additional purchase in state is registered. So many loopholes to these gun controlling reactionary systems

Those California gun laws really work well ! ! It was probably a gun-free zone. Those signs work well also!

Back in the late 1960s and through the '70s, between Carrol O'Connor playing Archie Bunker, movies like Blazing Saddles and Silver Streak, and comedians including Richard Pryor and others, we were well on the way to laughing the racists out of existence, or at least driving them underground. Racism and racists were ludicrous.

Then in the 1980s, racists started to become super villains. Super villains are always attractive to a certain population, remember the guy who played Malfoy got a lot more fan mail that the guy who played Harry Potter. Now they are full blown super villains, and some like being "that guy."

IMHO, we missed a real chance to laugh racism, if not out of existence, then at least into hiding, back in the 1970s.
