PO1 H Gene Lawrence Thank you for posting. Sorry to hear about your dad, but now that chapter is complete. What's next? I paused especially on slide #2 and 2 Cor 5:8. Are those away from the body at home in the Lord? Aren't we also encouraged to realize the Lord's presence in this land of the living? If both are true, then we share the Divine Presence with our departed loved ones whenever we reach out to that Presence in praise, prayer, and reflection. We will never be closer to them. I was once asked to consider how death only changes the context of a relationship. The relationship itself is still present, but the context in which we experience it has changed. May the unchanging grace of the Almighty renew in us again and again those relationships that are still with us. And will always be.
