SSG Robert Perrotto - Yes, many of the young people in the article could be coddled "rich kids", but that does not mean they have not done their own research. It does not mean they have not been to Israel numerous times. It does not mean that some have not served in the IDF, as Americans (instead of our own military). It does not mean that some are not dual citizens of Israel and U.S. with homes in both nations, who are attending college in U.S.
The political ideology of zionism, which is the political ideology of the government of Israel, is claimed by Israel to be the political ideology of all Jewish people. But it is not. The claim blames the Israeli government's political crimes on Judaism. Israel does not politically or religiously represent all Jewish people world wide, especially considering that the ideology is irreligious and little different from Marxism, except it always hides behind the skirts of religion to try to justify what Judaism does not justify.
Here's the thing. Everyone who knows enough to differentiate between Jewish folks, and political zionists (not all of whom are Jewish) - and that certainly includes the young folks the articles - knows that Israel/Palestine incidents like the most recent Eid 2021 incident, will result in what the press capitalizes on as being anti-semitic attacks on Jews.
So, strangely enough, only to people who are unable to differentiate between Jewish people, collectively, and people who support the political ideology of zionism, are apparently the ignoramuses who attack Jewish people whenever Israel violates in ways that attract world attention. Everyone else knows that Israel's illegal actions will result in unjust attacks on Jewish people.
If you are looking for folks promoting hasbara (i.e. Israel' brand of propaganda) then look deeper at what is only the tip of the iceberg, as it were, to see who and what is fueling and funding those who, on cue, attack Jews after an Israel incident.
The bottom line is that the young Jewish American in the article know the difference between a political ideology they do not support, and what it means to be Jewish.

Propaganda - and bullshit - thats not saying some young, Jewish Americans don't support Hamas aginst Israel, it just that these young Jewish Americans have lived their entire coddled lives in a country that doesn't face large scale deadly threats against them and their family, for the last 50 years, from an enemy that has sworn to kill every last one of them. It's like some trust fund college kid wearing a Che Guevera T-Shirt - they are too stupid to bother explaining the irony.
