Simon & Garfunkel - Kodachrome / Mabellene (from The Concert in Central Park)

Thank you my friend SGT (Join to see) for posting the music video of Paul Simon performing Kodachrome (from The Concert in Hyde Park) in honor of the fact that on May 19, 1973, Paul Simon released the single 'Kodachrome' named after the Kodak 35mm film Kodachrome which became a No.2 hit in the US.
I wonder what Linda Eastman who married Paul McCartney would think of this 'It was not released as a single in Britain, because the BBC would not play the trademarked name."
In honor of songs with trademarked names

Lyrics
When I think back
On all the crap I learned in high school
It's a wonder
I can think at all
And though my lack of education
Hasn't hurt me none
I can read the writing on the wall
Kodachrome
They give us those nice bright colors
They give us the greens of summers
Makes you think all the world's
a sunny day
I got a Nikon camera
I love to take a photograph
So mama don't take my Kodachrome away
If you took all the girls I knew
When I was single
And brought them all together
for one night
I know they'd never match
my sweet imagination
Everything looks worse
in black and white"

How about Ektachrome?! Kodachrome could only be processed by professionals, but I learned that Ektachrome could be processed in 55 minutes in a simple photo lab! I took rolls and rolls of this stuff. It’s all lost now, including a couple of rolls I took at The Carpenters’ concert!

LTC Stephen C. Brings back memories of sending rolls of film off to a lab to be developed. A couple weeks later you'd get your pictures in the mail. When I was deployed I'd always have the pictures sent to my home, so it was often a long time before I saw them.
