After 15 Years, the Navy's Littoral Combat Ships Are Still in Search of a Mission

Although it is possible that the availability of these ships may have prevented hostilities, there is currently no evidence that this occurred (And likely never will be - it is almost impossible to prove that something WOULD HAVE happened - and even more difficult to prove WHY it didn't happen.)

Which means that, according to what we currently know, these ships were LITTORALLY a waste of money.
