1SG (Join to see) - Trump did not give him a football contract, Trump was obligated to pay him and honor the contract when he bought the team - and the USFL was not "ruined" by Trump, what ruined that league was the anti trust lawsuit filed against the NFL, again, an action that predated Trumps involvement with the USFL. Jesus man, do some damn research before making an ass of yourself.

Once the league folded, all the contracts of the players became null and void. as the teams and the league were no longer a viable financial entity. So, again, the "Millions" from a contract that did not last more then 5 months, is quite wrong. Your claim that Trump ruined that league is also quite wrong.

Trump said the sum involved was ''comparable'' to those in two other multimillion-dollar contracts that players have signed with United States Football League teams in the last week: the $6 million that the New Orleans Breakers are reported to be paying Marcus Dupree for five years, and the $5.5 million that is estimated to be the present value of the four- year contract that will give Steve Young of the Los Angeles Express more than $40 million over the next 43 years. One of the few civilians who can relate and be understood by veterans. While not a perfect person he seems to be a person of responsibility and good character. Shame on those who try to pick a past fault and destroy him, maybe those throwing the stones are just racist. I had to throw that last on in for good measure because it's usually Democrats accusing those with differing opinions of racism. :)
