The Marine Corps Is Experimenting with a Concept that Could Reshape the Infantry

I believe if you work in a field you should be proficient in the whole field. You don’t have to be an expert but proficiency is important.

Sounds like the Marine Corps are flirting with "Being All They Can Be In The Army".

They could do it how Army infantry does it. A few MOSs and further cross train those. Rifleman, snipers, Recon in one. Mortards, anti-tank, and machine gunners in another. Integrate them at the platoon level and it'll all buff out
