One of the more sober post-conviction analyses I've seen. And I think he makes some very valid points (they'd be good ones if most folks took them to heart).

If it does get overturned, at least the world has seen him for the murderer he is.

It is quite possible the judge could vacate the jury's verdict and enter a not guilty verdict, vacate some of the charges or all of them. Or, may just punt and let this go to appeal. It is also possible the judge may think reasonable doubt was not demonstrated and the verdict stands and this becomes an appeal. I'm not surprised they convicted, the jury should have been sequestered or a change of venue because with all the vitriol, there isn't much confidence a fair trial was guaranteed. Those who wanted a guilty verdict will of course argue with this and call names, but my opinion is there was enough reasonable doubt to support a not guilty verdict.
