Klamath drought will hurt already endangered fish

Oregon Gov. Kate Brown recently declared a drought emergency in Klamath County saying, “the Klamath Basin faces one of the most difficult water years in recent memory.” This means that there won’t be enough water to sustain farmers who depend on the watershed for irrigation and endangered fish that are particularly important to local tribes. Last month, we spoke to Mark Johnson, deputy director of the Klamath Water Users Association.
