The Nobel Prize in Literature 1999

On April 13, 2015, Günter Grass, German writer (The Tin Drum) and Nobel Prize laureate (1999), died at the age of 87. His reputation was sullied later by the fact that he served in the SS and made anti-Semitic remarks about Israel.
