Speeding semi gets smashed up at the 11foot8 bridge

While driving livestock years and years ago, I was following the directions given to me by the packhouse in Connecticut. I came to a bridge underpass that was supposed to be about 4 inches higher than my trailer. I crept up to the bridge straddling the center line, since I was unsure. Made it halfway through when there was a bit of scrapping. Made it through, no real damage though. I believe that road had been repaved and the sign and height never never updated.
