Juvenile charged with murder after eighth-grade girl shot dead in Virginia

This young girl was shot by a young black boy. This breaks my heart, two families will grieve, both families have lost children, one for their time on earth and one for the time in jail and the pain of knowing they will not be their to comfort him in his pain and fear. I often wonder if the irresponsible rhetoric of saying “ white people are evil”, “all white people are racist”, etc are not responsible for or contributory to this tragedy. If calling the Corona virus “ Wuhan flu”, “China virus “ etc lead to the Asians killed in massage parlors surely stereotyping whites as being racist and evil contributes to these kind of attacks. Let us try to be loving.
