Yeah 32nd that means there are 31 worse that puts us some where in the... what?...15th to 20th percentile and the "Gun Violence" tag the left uses includes any time a gun was fired, justified or not,, suicides and gang violence, maybe if You looked at only criminal misuse of a firearm, You'd see a different picture. "Shall not be Infringed"

Canada has more than 8 times less people, and the UK won't even let their people have butter knives. Not to mention U of W is better known around here as Wuss University.

Got a friend in the UK who says they are already talking about banning bats, sticks, "clubs", etc. It's almost like the implement used isn't the root cause of violence....

I would put more faith in these numbers if the CDC et al would more accurately reflect the REASON the firearm was used. FBI crime statistics state firearms are used almost 4 to 1 more often for self defense than they are wanton violence. CDC doesn't differentiate between suicide, justified homicide (self defense, etc), or murder. If you have the time/desire you can finally drill down to base categories but the top level tables just say "gun violence" and stop there.
