"The backlash was just as swift with many criticizing the Grammys for allowing the performance to air. Complaints to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) were even made. However, a spokesperson told TheWrap that the number of complaints were average for the type of event."

Exactly. Celebrities aren't there to parent other people's kids.
Cardi B makes music FOR ADULTS. That's why she doesn't even let her child listen to her music. It's targeted to adults.
As for the Grammy's when has that ever beena "family" show? When was that ever targeted to families when they've consistently had "provocative" dances for at least 20-30 years on the show. I have never thought of that as a show targeted to kids. That's why there's kids award shows. Like Kid's Choice Awards. Nickelodeon awards.
The Grammy's, Oscars, MTV VMA's etc a targeted to adults. So why are people watching those shows with their kids?
Parent your kids. Stop expecting celebrities to do it.
