Is this really any different from the US not only banning Huawei, but also telling all of NATO to get rid of them, as well?

I mean, really, this is s MINOR retaliation in comparison.

Well the irony here is some claim some administrations have ties to certain countries and communist regimes yet these things don’t really suggest great relationships. But maybe it’s just a show

COL (Join to see) - I am not saying I agree or disagree with any such assertions. But....

A very strong argument in support of them is that this is not only a ban on Teslas - a ban which is going to have a VERY limited scope, because how many folks in China are going to own Teslas in the first place? - but it is ALSO limited even within that already limited scope. The argument can VERY easily be made that this ban is window dressing and the fact that it isn't a wider ban - say Apple, or Google - is a clear indication that Biden *is* getting favors.

Again, I don't necessarily agree or disagree one way or the other. Just pointing things out.

Fair pointSFC Casey O'Mally. I did offer window dressing as an alternative narrative. Thank you

A Chinese LTC makes the equivalent of $1100 US per month. Which Chinese soldiers are they banning from buying a Tesla? Maybe a better question is “how cheap is a Tesla in China?”
