"On Thursday, Stanford sports performance coach Ali Kershner posted two pictures on social media showing disparities between facilities for men and women. The first photo showed a small tower of free weights and stack of yoga mats designated for the women players in San Antonio, which is hosting the 2021 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship; the second photo showed an expansive makeshift gym complete with multiple benches and other equipment for the men players, whose tournament is in Indianapolis."

Fairly certain there is more to this then what is being presented. There is not a way in hell that the NCAA would so glaringly violate title IX funding requirement. One rack of dumb bells and yoga mats for 64 teams, c'mon people, that doesn't pass the bullshit meter. Second red flag is the reporting website, if this was true, MSNBC, CNN, Fox, and all the legacy media would be running their spins on this, not some two bit barely known blog site on the internet.
College sports, especially Basketball, for both men and women = huge amounts of $$$$$$ in revenue, something like this would absolutely be top story in the news cycle for at least 72 hours, possibly longer because we are in March madness.

Colleges violate Title IX consistently it seems. I think this is from 2019.

Despite the fact that most estimates are that 80 to 90 percent of all educational institutions are not in compliance with Title IX as it applies to athletics, such withdrawal of federal moneys has never been initiated. When institutions are determined to be out of compliance with the law, the United States Department of Education Office for Civil Rights (OCR) finds them “in compliance conditioned on remedying identified problems.”
Title IX requires that every educational institution have a Title IX Compliance Coordinator. The OCR is the primary agency charged with its enforcement. However, to date, this agency’s enforcement efforts have been inadequate."
I have seen it on ABC News, ESPN, Sports Illustrated, NBC News, Washington Post, USA Today, NPR, CNN, hell even FoxNews. I just did a Google search. All the news outlets have a story on it.

SFC Kelly Fuerhoff - Kelly - I absolutely refuse to believe that a single dumbell rack and yoga mats were all that was provided for 64 teams to share. Want to say there are discrepencies - sure i can get on board with that, maybe a second rate gym facility - but this - nah, it makes zero sense.

At the risk of not jumping to conclusions (do you really think that one rack of dumbbells and a few yoga mats in that tiny closet was the entire workout facility for the entire 64 team field?), it’s likely that there are more plausible answers than a wanton disregard of title IX.
Try this one. The Men’s tournament is always held at neutral sites. The opening rounds of the Womens tournament is always held at the campuses of the higher seeds in the bracket. Competing Teams simply use the campus athletic facilities.
Now, while both NCAA, the men’s and women’s tournaments are organized separately. This is the first year that the organizers of the women’s tournament has had to put together a large, neutral site tournament. Additionally, organizers of the women’s tournament have never had to arrange for workout facilities for a 64 team tournament, all in the same location.
Is it possible in this unprecedented year of firsts, that maybe they simply didn’t think to coordinate with the organizers of the men’s tournament to compare notes on workout facilities?
Now, if the NCAA heard of this and said, “oh well”, there might be something. But the NCAA is already bending over backwards trying to Fix the situation. But I’m leaning to the simple answer on this one. It’s more of an oversight than the most glaring ‘f*ck you’ in recent memory.

I’ll break it down for you. the tournament is indeed always broken down into regions. On the men’s side, the early are always hosted at neutral sites. No team ever gets a home game.
But On the women’s side, the early rounds are hosted by the top seeded teams in the tournament. You linked to the 2019 tournament. See for yourself below. Refer to your own link to see the top seeded teams, and then check the link below, and see where the opening rounds were played.
