Military Warns Social Media Users of Scammers Pretending to Be US Commander in Afghanistan

I saw on Twitter someone posting screenshots of a profile with the Army Chief of Staff's photo but totally fake name and she thinking it was the actual Army Chief of Staff threatening her. I said just report it and block it. That's not the Army Chief of Staff.

I have seen profiles on FB, and some message me, that have SMs photos but it's an obviously fake page. The name doesn't match the photo. Nor the user ID in the URL is even remotely close. I report them to FB - get told "this doesn't violate our community standards..." Sometimes I mess with them if they message me lol.

This reminds me of a time where I saw a user on LinkedIn named "River Bell". He claimed to be a lieutenant colonel, but had a picture of a three star general and no details in profile

What do they want?
