Part 2
I was prepared to show this video before I saw one that was a bit earlier and had some features that this current one does not, so I am now sharing this NASA video with you as Part 2... When I first saw this, only 567 people had seen it, now that number has risen to 1,746 and is rising rapidly... You folks will be among the first small percentage of people around the world to view this...
From NASA:
"On March 13, 2021 NASA’s Perseverance Rover deployed/dropped some component (Mars Sample Cover) on the surface finding safe place to deploy Helicopter Ingenuity. This component either Mars Samples Depot (cover), or Ingenuity’s thing. Big panorama image was reconstructed and colorized by myself to analyze what happened with the rover. At a time and place of the team's choosing, the samples are deposited on the surface of Mars at a spot that the team designates as a "sample cache depot." The depot location or locations must be well-documented by both local landmarks and precise coordinates from orbital measurements. The cache of Mars samples remains at the depot, available for pickup and potential return to Earth." Credit: NASA
