Every Defense Secretary I've remembered I've had respect for. Not talking "acting." I'm talking Senate nominated. The Army recommended reducing the number. The Capitol Police recommended more. Prudence dictated supporting the Capitol Police. I see nothing wrong with that.

Originally, Trump authorized the deployment of NG after the riot at the capital by declaring an emergency, After Biden was sworn in, He has used the 1807 insurrection act to keep the NG past Jan 20th, first promising there return after the impeachment trial, and then again extending them to a supposed Mar 4th uprising, and now keeping a force indefinitely.
The new reality is the democrats are going fear monger the American people into accepting a militarized capital because of a "Mostly Peaceful" protest. I still laugh my ass off at the irony of all this. Wonder how that courthouse is doing in Portland?
