I was station at Arijhan (excuse the spelling if wrong) paved streets, brick buildings etc, even had an Applebee's on post, and spend a few weeks at Camp Virginia working on a fuel project that was going to the green zone over the border, still not bad and I thought the food was better there. The food at the air base was great. Had to go there several times to pick up fuel samples and bring them back for analysis.
