You may be aware that SpaceX's SN10 Starship exploded about 8-minutes after landing last week... Well there is more to the story... It seems as if the landing "legs" of the SN10 could not withstand the force of the landing at about 6-8 mph and one leg did not carry the weight needed...leaving the SN10 slightly tilted and it changed the dynamics of the remaining fuel container allowing the liquid fuel to escape as a gas, which resulted in the explosion... (That may not be the exact description that SpaceX would use, but it's close enough... and you will see that in the first segment of this report.
Also, the SN11 is being moved to its launch pad as I type this and it has "New" landing legs somewhat similar to what their Falcon 9 rockets use...and this will be highlighted in this video...

SpaceX has a sight about thirty miles from Waco, Texas. When they fire up their rockets for testing, it rattles the windows. It is also very loud.

PO1 H Gene Lawrence My sole purpose for working that summer was to earn "have fun" money for Sophomore year. With a 13 day 10 hour schedule, time and a half for overtime and triple time for working Sundays, what I was doing wasn't that important. :-)

There was a peak shaving plant miles from my home in Ohio, to provide extra power to keep a steel mill online. It used a pair of GE jet engines to drive the turbnies, and they were loud. In a worst case scenario, everyone else could be without power, while the mill completed current production. Even at the much higher price for electric, it was still cheaper than cutting up all the scrap and repairing the machinery after a sudden shut down. There was one of the first long Propane pipelines in that area, so fuel was no problem.
