Why The Founding Fathers Despised Democracy

I guess that is the main reason we are so screwed up now, our founding fathers knew it! Moving fast forward, we can actually see what they feared. Democracy can easily be used to ease suffering, but in reality, can falsely and stupidly believe we are a democracy when we are not. Just looking at the waste and abuse by the left and the mounting US national deficit, we will never be able to get out of that hole. Historically, the Republican party, does a better job with international trade, getting more Americans on the workforce, lowering taxes, taking care of veterans, lowering fuel prices, not taking bullshit from foreign countries, building our military, and more. It seems to me, the Democrats are hell-bent on destroying all the progress our last administration did. The south border crisis is just one huge example!
