My family was a pioneering family in Forsyth County in the early 1840s. They came from Virginia where they had lived since the early 1600s. My great, great grandfather owned slaves , but fought for the Union. His brother fought for the South and ended up moving to Arkansas after the Civil War and never went back to Missouri! SGT (Join to see) - Born in St Louis, Some Serious Great History in that Town from the Period. I Believe that All My Ancestors and Family fought with the Northern Forces. Now I live in Abolitionist Country, Jayhawker Country. Not that the "Jayhawkers" were Saints Stealing from Residents of Missouri just Because they were "Slave Owning Sinners"? or Supporters of "Slave Owners" Yeah!
