Democrat and Republican lawmakers have rallied around Congresswoman Marie Newman after Marjorie Taylor Greene escalated her campaign against the Equality Act to personally misgender the lawmaker's trans-daughter.
After placing a sign outside their offices saying "there are TWO genders", Ms Green followed-up on Twitter to tell Ms Newman "your biological son does NOT belong in my daughters' bathrooms".
"Sickening, pathetic, unimaginably cruel," said Illinois Democrat Sean Casten in a tweet.
“This hate is exactly why the #EqualityAct is necessary and what we must protect [Newman’s] daughter and all our LGBTQ+ loved ones against.”

Why are certain people so obsessed with what someone is doing in the bathroom? This boggles me every time bathrooms are brought up about transgender people. It's always about transgender women - never transgender men which is also interesting.
When I use a public bathroom, I don't look in the other stalls. I don't check to see who is in there and what anatomy they have. I don't care. I do my business and I leave. Or I help my daughter and we leave. I have never once worried about who is in there.
As long as no one is harassing me or bothering other people WHO CARES?!?!?!?! Honestly every public bathroom should just be co-ed. Then that's one less thing for certain people to complain about who is in and out of the bathroom.
Marjorie Taylor Greene is one of the worst kinds of people on the planet though. If she hadn't had people drive her opponent out of the race and the state, she wouldn't likely even be in office. Not hard to win when you run unopposed.
