We have landed another ROver on the surface to Mars, we have sent unmanned space probes to jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Saturn, and numerous other places in our solar system...but what about our Sun!
Our Sun is 93 million miles away from us, and measures a staggering 865,000 miles across, big enough to fit one million Earths inside. It has been studied with great interest for thousands of years, and yet we know very little about it. But humanity is on a mission to touch the Sun, and advanced telescopes are being built on Earth, and some sent into space, to help us solve the Sun's greatest mysteries. Mankind's greatest inventions are now sending back incredible images of our star as you’ve never seen it before.
What would happen if our Sun failed to shine its warming rays outward to the breadth and depth of our Solar System. We know relatively little, overall, about our Sun, but that is now changing very rapidly and that is what this video by "Destiny" will relate to you... It is an amazing video with a plethora of interesting facts to digest and provide you with a broader knowledge of the center of our Solar System... Remember, our Sun is a STAR like other Stars in the Universe... What we learn from our Sun will help us understand more about the millions of Stars in the Milky Way Galaxy and beyond...
I hope you all enjoy it!
