The January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol and the subsequent impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump has shined a spotlight on his most fervent supporters. Now, there is a new nationwide study that looks at the beliefs and attitudes of self-described MAGA supporters.
Christopher Sebastian Parker is a professor of political science at the University of Washington. He and his team surveyed hundreds of people in the MAGA movement both before and after the January riot.

The GOP sold their souls to support Trump, his infinite lies, and scorch and burn politics. It is quite puzzling to see so many Americans worship a pathological liar. He has no requisite presidential timber. Trump bragged about pandemic metrics. Who brags about the suffering of the people? What he said was evil.

MAJ Ken Landgren - Nope. But then again he probably still didn't have all the info needed to make a decision on whether to take this thing serious or not. Just like MANY presidents, dictators, PMs, and Chancellors. It was all a guessing game. Hindsight is 20/20and now it's obvious that the US shouldn't have been shut down like it was for so many months since it did more harm than good.
I was stationed in both Japan and Korea. I know how the cultures are and knew already they'd be better off than most countries. But even they had a pretty bad spike recently. So it's not like they had it totally nailed.
Anyways, like I said already... There was no response "robust and timely" enough to stop the millions of lefties from burning, looting, murdering and SPITTING all over each other over the summer. Trying to blame ONE GUY for it is just delusional. Especially when Chinese / CCP don't even blame themselves for it.
