There are singers who seemingly take over the stage with their musical voices and one of those is a singer by name of Josh Groban... I do not say this lightly, but he is on par with male singer/performers like Andrea Bocelli, Luciano Pavarotti, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Mathis, Andy Williams and many others... Their music just permeates the opera houses, theatres, auditoriums and the like... Some of these male singers have sung "The Impossible Dream" and this is the first time I have heard Josh Groban sing it... I am favorably impressed with his rendition... A beautiful song in line with the topic of today, "Quality of Life"...

About this song:
" "The Impossible Dream (The Quest)" is a popular song composed by Mitch Leigh, with lyrics written by Joe Darion. The song is the most popular song from the 1965 Broadway musical Man of La Mancha and is also featured in the 1972 film of the same name starring Peter O'Toole.
The complete song is first sung by Don Quixote as he stands vigil over his armor, in response to Aldonza (Dulcinea)'s question about what he means by "following the quest". It is reprised partially three more times – the last by prisoners in a dungeon as Miguel de Cervantes and his manservant mount the drawbridge-like prison staircase to face trial by the Spanish Inquisition. It was awarded the Contemporary Classics Award from the Songwriter's Hall of Fame." Read more at Wikipedia.com
LYRICS:
"The Impossible Dream" by Josh Groban
To dream the impossible dream
To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear the unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go
To write the unwritable wrong
To be better far than you are
To try when your arms are too weary
The reach the unreachable star
This is my quest, to follow that star
No matter how hopeless,
No matter how far
To fight for the right
Whithout question or pause
To be willing to march into hell
For a heavenly cause
And I know if I'll only be true
To this glorious quest
That my heart will be peaceful and calm
When I'm laid to my rest
And the world would be better for this
That one man scorned and covered with scars
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
To reach the unreachable star
I do hope that you enjoy it...
Kerry
