PO1 William "Chip" Nagel All good points Chip...I have been stationed in North Dakota, Pennsylvania, and Ohio and got used to doing all of this but I now live in Mississippi. Back last fall I put an emergency kit in all of our cars and folks asked me why and I told them you never know even here in MS. We stocked up on water awhile back, bought a generator last year, and have two indoor approved space heaters just in case. Thank God this time our power has stayed on up till now. Others not so fortunate but we were ready. Great post and I appreciate it.

Lt Col Scott Shuttleworth I Try! Always think it is a Hoot that I did a Year on Adak and I've Seen Deeper Snows and Colder Weather here in Prairie Village, KS. Did a Year on Diego Garcia and I've Seen Much Warmer here in Prairie Village, KS. Have Yet to see the Heat Match the Persian Gulf though.
