"The Clark County Commission has this week unanimously voted to change the name of Las Vegas International Airport — Las Vegas McCarran International Airport will soon be known as Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport.
With this vote, the county is directing airport staff to file a change with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to rename the airport."

Having lived in Las Vegas for ten years while teaching, I learned to dislike HR intensely. He was a liar amongst many other things, the unions and casinos were what kept him in office. His dishonesty with people was disgusting. I went to one of his Town Hall meetings once and listened to him lie about Health Care and how his health care was the same as all Gov't employees almost had me laughing out loud since he didn't pay a dime for his. He lied about how he was a target of the Mob while he worked for the gaming commission. When a former mob hit man was released from prison, he was interviewed on a local radio talk show and was asked if he ever wanted to "take out" Harry, he laughed and said "Hell No, he make too much money for us". A lot of people in Vegas always wondered how Harry became a millionaire on a state salary before he went to Washington DC.
