I copied the body of the article in case the site is not available for everyone. I hesitate to post this as I am sure it will generate more divide from the "nevers" to the "forevers". I must say as a moderately liberal-conservative, aka middle of the roader this type of speculative "research" really makes liberals and their respective organizations look rather amateurish and politicizing science. Just MHO.

Agreed that it will yield more divide and is quite amateurish. But, so is quite a bit of the articles on Medscape. I only use my Medscape app to cross refence medications with Epocrates.
The authors also delve into climate change as well.
Personally, my views regarding the Chinese virus and how our Federal, state and local governments responded is quite mixed. Especially to the small business owners in this country, who have literally been forced out of business.

I don’t even know why I still get medscape alerts anymore. They’re usually too little too late on stuff my dead grandmother already knew about

COL (Join to see) interesting article, some back up proof of the claims in the article would have been nice. I don't think any one political party is responsible for this whole mess.

I regularly contribute commentary on Medscape. However, issues like these tend to invite highly charged political and not clinical observations. This article is quite factual.
