Lies are always easy to expose. It's too hard to maintain a "telephone" lie when so many are altering the details in real time across several platforms. The same techniques used to debunk a criminal's lie during questioning can be used by watching all of the "news" outlets. It's too bad many are married to one source, or the many who use the exact same source.

Can you stop with the tin foil hat stuff and face reality? Because you cannot face reality, we did end up with an insurrection. I agree the main stream media had done a lot of bad reporting. Here is an example. They had to have know about the extreme danger from breathing the dust and smoke coming off the wreckage pile. Resolution to prosecute Christine Todd Whitman, former Mayor Rudy Giuliani, and the James Connaughton
WHEREAS the EPA did not find hazards from the dust and air nearby the World Trade Center on 9/11 because they did not look for them,
WHEREAS when EPA did find hazards, they either didn’t tell people, or they came up with very lame excuses for why we shouldn’t be concerned,
WHEREAS the EPA found out that their own employees were sick in December 2001,
WHEREAS many non-US government scientists warned that the air and dust was extremely dangerous to people’s health,
WHEREAS more than 43,000 people have been certified with a 9/11 related health condition.
WHEREAS as of September 2018, 10,000 people diagnosed with cancer linked to 9/11.

Even a left wing rag, usa today, found the evidence that the "cages" were built during the obama administration. Given the issues during bush's years and the creation of the patriot act removing a lot of our civil liberties, I'm not a fan of the bush version of the republican party, also known as, rinos. That said, given the alternative, a socialist running as a democrat will never get my vote. Third party? Until there is a third party that can compete on the national stage, no. Just, no!.
Where does that leave us? The lessor of two evils? Trump wasn't my first choice and I only voting for him to ensure hillary didn't get elected. Regardless of Trump's rhetoric and alleged crimes, he actually did a better job as a president than I could have imagined. I'm proud to say my initial belief was wrong and I do not regret my 2016 nor my 2020 vote for Donald Trump.
