Apparently you have never read the Constitution nor have bothered to look for precident. If you had bothered to do even the slightest bit of research you would have learned that a civil officer can be impeached even if they are out of office.
You also conveniently left out the following facts.
1. Trump was in office when the House passed the Article of Impeachment.
2. The Senate would not return from their time off to accept the Article of Impeachment from the House.

The left and several RINO's no longer care about the US Constitution. It's clear that term limits is the only thing short of civil war that will fix the issues in DC.

Well, since Chief Justice Roberts has refused to preside because he is no longer in office, who would you suggest should preside. Keep in mind that your argument of the impeachment being unconstitutional has been debated and refuted by the Senate twice, now.
