She speaks of the difficulty of firing a government employee. Have those on the right not looked at the reason for this? One of the major components of a successful government is continuity. If every time the administration changed hands all the employees were fired and new people brought in, it would be a disaster. We had examples of that somewhat under Trump.

Bottom line, as I have said before:

Our system of government is terrible, but it beats the hell out of whatever is in second place!

Complete and utter BS. That's like the Board of directors of Boeing firing everyone that works for the for them and doing all of the engineering,R&D, construction and handle all legal matters.

This woman is down right stupid and everyone that agrees are just as bad.

You are entitled to your opinion but you just reminded me about something funny about Boeing. I think using the company of Boeing is not appropriate considering it is as scandalous as Washington DC.

You didn't give a counter argument you just made an analogy about bowing but you didn't refute point by point what the narrator was saying. I think you could be more convincing if you could do it that way.

It sounds like you’re advocating a return to the patronage system instituted under Andrew Jackson, where political loyalty is more important than knowledge or expertise. Not sure that’s a good way to go.

That’s what existed before Civil Service, btw...
